glorious city, Tenochtitlán, by Spanish explorers. Who brought not only firearms to fight the natives, but also diseases from the old continent. The Jaguar warriors are those who fought to the end to defend the city and its emperor, even if it cost their lives. The comic was made with the idea of exploring different action poses that the characters could do during&nbsp; the battles. In addition of trying to build a frantic and chaotic narrative, showing how all the warriors had to give everything they had until the end. <img width="1051" height="1485" width_o="1051" which is the issue of child soldiers in ongonig wars. And to address this topic I chose to make a comic, because I’ve always enjoyed creating visual narratives. The comic is called “Iron in the Blood” because it is a term used by soldiers to describe children who always carries a gun in their hands. As if guns were part of its anatomy. The idea was to create a narrative where a child from an unknown country has a gun that speaks to him. Like an imaginary friend. But the weapon convinces&nbsp; to do terrible things to turn her into something inhuman. a project I did at the Foundation back in 2019. Where the objective was to make 4 drawings on 4 A2 sheets, with the theme of what would be our vision of the end of the world. At that time I was very addicted to zombie and vampire movies. And I decided to mix the two elements where a disease transmitted by bats turned people into a zombie - vampire creature. Because I really like animals, so I wanted to have the opportunity to use this theme in some way. And with that I had the idea of creating a children's book about strange and rare animals. Because I didn't want to talk about the endangered animals that we normally know. And these animals are: The kakapo, the gibbon, the gharial, the vaquita, the hairy rhino and the pangolin. They are rare animals but that are very strange and little known by people. The objective of this children's book is to show how some animals are not what they seem and in addition to their strangeness make them different from other animals, as well as special. The drawings were made through a mixture of techniques. Including chalk pastels with which much of the background was done, even some details of the animals. And I drew over it in Procreate using a chalk brush that manages to blend in very well with the analogue drawing. The ideia that came to my mind was to make an orange horse travelling the different eras of humanity done in different styles to represnt the period in which the horse was in. &nbsp;The reason I had this idea was because I was fascinated by the cover of the book "The Catcher in the Rye" which had a beautiful illustration of a red horse. So I wanted to use a colorful horse as a tribute to this great illustration. The idea of different historical periods and because I'm a big fan of history, and as horses are present in different periods of humanity I thought it would be the perfect excuse.
